Jessee Elizabeth Bundy is the founding attorney of Creative Counsel Law. Admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2013, she brings more than a decade of experience advising clients in real estate, intellectual property, business and corporate law, contract negotiation, and entertainment matters.
Jessee represents business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, creatives, influencers, real estate investors, nonprofits, and more, tailoring her counsel to help each client protect their work and pursue growth with confidence.
Her legal career has included both private practice and in-house counsel roles, giving her a broad perspective across intellectual property, business transactions, and complex real estate matters. Before entering the legal profession, Jessee built a diverse foundation in journalism, communications, and nonprofit leadership.
As Director of the Rogersville Main Street Program through AmeriCorps, she led economic development and historic preservation initiatives in her hometown. She also worked as a news writer and freelance journalist, experiences that sharpened her ability to listen, translate complexity, and advocate through storytelling, skills that continue to shape her legal practice today.
Jessee earned her J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she was awarded the Robert & Elaine Hoffman Merit Scholarship and the Dean’s Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. She also holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

My background is as multidimensional as the clients I serve, shaped by years in journalism, advertising, communication studies, and nonprofit leadership. Long before I filed a trademark or drafted a contract, I was telling stories, designing campaigns, supporting small business owners, and helping communities protect what mattered most.
That work gave me something different: a creative lens, a strategic mindset, and a deep respect for people building from the ground up.
Today, I use those experiences to help clients navigate the legal side of their work without overwhelm.
Whether that’s forming a new business, negotiating a deal, scaling a brand, or resolving legal issues from property titles to partnerships, I bring both legal precision and human understanding to the table.
